Evolution appropriates found imagery from public archives and contemporary media (magazines), highlighting issues of female representation by connecting the past with the present. These photomontages form a window in which we are confronted and contrasted with these timely portrayals, allowing the viewer to analyze pose and gesture in the female object of desire.
